Sofie A. Nicea invites people of colour of Ostend and beyond to join her in a painting-workshop on discrimination & emotion. Through a number of expressive exercises they’ll convert a shared canvas - covering the entire floor - into a heartfelt artwork of lines, shapes and symbols in shades of reds and pinks

The workshop is open to people off color. Registration is required

Sofie’s paintings and drawings deal with trauma and recovery. She converts the inside of the pedestal into a space where she feels comfortable sharing those deep-digging personal works. The canvas created during the workshop takes over the outside of the pedestal, engulfing it in red and pink figures born out of experiences with discrimination.
